IXC® International

IXC® Australia and IXC® UK are the founding members of the InnovationXchange, an international network of commercially-neutral organizations formed to deliver the benefits of the IXC Intermediary® Service to economies worldwide.

Piloted for the first time in 2003, the IXC model has been operating successfully in Australia ever since and, in 2006, was brought to the UK as a partnership initiative with the University of Birmingham.  Established under licence from IXC Australia, IXC UK now brings the intermediary service to the UK for the first time for the benefit of British industry, universities and research institutes.

The IXC Intermediary Service has generated significant, international interest and IXC Australia is in discussions with organizations in Europe, the Far East, India, North and South America, about bringing the benefits of the IXC model to their businesses, universities and research institutions.

Internationally, the IXC business model is licensed to local organizations established along similar lines, that is, organizations which are independent, limited by guarantee and commercially-neutral.  The InnovationXchange provides assistance in the recruitment of local intermediaries who are trained in the IXC methodology to ensure that all IXC intermediaries, wherever they are located, work to the same stringent standards, code of conduct and ethics. It is the consistency of quality control that ensures client confidentiality is maintained and IP protected.

The InnovationXchange also ensures that each IXC operation receives ongoing support and training to guarantee consistent standards.  Therefore, all IXC clients, wherever they are in the world, benefit from the shared knowledge of a continually expanding, truly global network of IXC Intermediaries.
